I am experienced in working with clients affected by anxiety, depression, trauma, and life-changing situations. While working with me, you'll explore how to change a pattern of thinking and behavior, set boundaries, overcome difficult relationships, work through losses, and build self-esteem. My goal is to be effective in improving your life and helping you become the person you want to be.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll start with brief introductions and then dive into your specific challenges. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. During therapeutic processes, we explore together the root of the problem impacting your life. I am here to partner with you to work through the issues causing disruptions in your life and to help you meet your goals. Everyone’s experience is unique, and the therapeutic experience should reflect this.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

What I love about therapy is helping others work through their life issues so they may live a healthy and happy life. I strongly believe that people can foster their happiness and overcome barriers when they have the tools to be their best.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral therapy is a powerful tool we will use in our sessions to help you recognize how your thoughts and feelings can influence your behavior and, as a result, affect your daily life. Together, we'll work on identifying your thinking patterns, and we'll learn how to override them with more realistic and positive thought processes.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT aims to help you understand and accept your difficult feelings, learn skills to manage these feelings, and become able to make positive changes in your life.

Positive Psychology

The goal of positive psychology is to expand and give more balance to the therapeutic process. The idea is not so focused on fixing what is bad in life but rather focusing on what is good—the positives.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy focuses on unconscious processes that can manifest in present behavior. Its goals are to build self-awareness and understanding of the influence of one's past on present behavior and functioning.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy is an evidence-based treatment approach in therapy used with clients affected by traumatic life events. This modality can help you overcome trauma-related difficulties.
