What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, build rapport, and discuss the current challenges you're facing. We will begin where you want to begin and I will tailor a plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. The plan is flexible and can be changed to meet your needs and your preferred pace.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in mental health field for over 10 years and being a clinician for the last 5, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress (c) feel safe, accepted, and heard in sessions.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational Interviewing MI is a collaborative, goal-oriented style of communication with particular attention to the language of change. It is designed to strengthen personal motivation for and commitment to a specific goal by eliciting and exploring the person’s own reasons for change within an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion.

Psychoeducation

Psychoeducation is a therapy intervention that involves the therapist providing their client with information about their diagnosis, symptoms, or the method of treatment used. The goal of psychoeducation is to help the client understand and cope with their diagnoses as well as improve treatment adherence, as clients who understand their treatment are better able to follow through on recommendations

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a short-term goal-focused evidence-based therapeutic approach, which incorporates positive psychology principles and practices, and which helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than focusing on problems.
