After graduating from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, I earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, followed by being granted a license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked with families for over 25 years. Whether at Psychiatric Hospitals, Child Abuse Prevention Agencies, Child Advocacy Organizations, or Private Psychhiatric Clinics, my professional focus has always been to work with women and families in need of support, guidance and resources.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal for every therapy session is the hope that each client will leave feeling listened to, heard, valued, and respected. It is important that clients feel supported and safe in therapy to explore new skills, to recognize maladaptive thoughts and behavior patterns, and to feel they are gaining new skills while edging toward positive changes

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use a variety of methods and techniques in therapy designed to fit the individual needs of each client. I highly value working with individuals from diverse cultures, varied cognitive and physical abilities, neurodiversities, all ethnic and racial identities, adults of all age groups, varied gender and sexual identities and expressions, education, and professions, and other differences and similarities. I accept and support you as you are!

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The majority of my work has included women looking for change. Whether needing to work through grief, make decisions about relationships, discover their passions in work, share childhood traumas, learn how to better advocate for themselves, or feel more joy in life. I have deep empathy and understanding of how women function emotionally, what drives them to get up on the morning, and what goals and dreams they want to achieve.
