Hello family. My name is Stacee Williams, LCSW. I am an African American female therapist. I have worked in the mental health field for 20 yrs. In am born and raised in Los Angeles. I started in 2000 in community mental health in Los Angeles. In 2007, I became a therapist, and in 2016 I was licensed as a LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in CA. I treat depression, anxiety, grief/loss, family issues, struggles surrounding discrimination in the workplace, and women's self-empowerment. My professional experience has been treating black women, women of color, and people of color. Healing is a long term process, and it's very important to me as therapist.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I expect to provide a safe, confidential space for the client to communicate their presenting problems, the reason they are seeking therapy, and what they are looking to receive from treatment. Building rapport, creating a safe emotional space, and positive therapeutic relationship is an initial part of the first session.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are working w/ black woman, woman, and people of color. Understanding the symptoms of depression, anxiety, loss, and how it shows up for people of color and in women. I align w/ the client to provide a sense a safety, support, and healing.
