Hi, I am a Christian counselor first and foremost. I specialize in assisting individuals that use their spiritual faith as a weapon against mental illness. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma and those with a history of sexual abuse. Most people at some point in their life will deal with depression. I strive to help my clients determine the cause of their depression from the root. I assist them in acquiring skills to help themselves daily overcome depression. Sometimes people just need enough information and tools that can be used whenever they need it. I enjoy teaching and educating my clients to learn how to manage their mental health after therapy is over. I am also here for when people need someone to walk along with them through their situations until they can see the light of better days!
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through during follow up sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
My greatest strength is caring about others. I also want to help someone discover the root to their problem. If we can discover the root, then we know what we are attacking in therapy. At that point, we will use different tools and techniques to get you where you want to be-free. I have a niche for helping people who have experienced childhood trauma. I also have a niche for people of the Christian faith.
