What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, and then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my therapy practice, I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a cornerstone approach to help clients achieve their mental health goals. CBT is a highly effective and evidence-based therapeutic technique that focuses on identifying and challenging negative thought patterns, emotions, and behaviors. By working closely with clients, I help them recognize these patterns and understand how they impact their feelings and actions. Together, we develop practical strategies to modify these patterns, fostering healthier thinking and coping mechanisms. Through collaborative discussions and targeted exercises, clients learn to gain better control over their thoughts and emotions, empowering them to navigate challenges more effectively and improve their overall well-being. CBT equips clients with valuable skills that they can apply in various aspects of their lives, promoting lasting positive change and emotional resilience.

Attachment-based

In my therapy practice, I utilize Attachment-Based Therapy, a well-established and evidence-based approach, to help clients navigate their emotional challenges and enhance their overall well-being. Through open and empathetic communication, I help clients explore their past attachment experiences and their impact on present emotions and behaviors. By gaining insight into these patterns, clients can develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. Together, we work towards cultivating more secure attachments, improving self-esteem, and enhancing interpersonal connections. This approach not only provides a framework for understanding the roots of emotional struggles but also empowers clients to develop healthier coping mechanisms and build more fulfilling relationships in their lives.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In my therapy practice, I employ the person-centered theory treatment method, which focuses on creating a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment. This approach places you, the client, at the center of the therapeutic process, valuing your unique experiences, feelings, and perspectives. I actively listen to your concerns, allowing you to express your thoughts and emotions freely. By understanding your worldview and experiences, I can provide genuine support and unconditional positive regard, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship. Through this collaboration, we work together to explore your inner thoughts, feelings, and struggles, empowering you to find your own solutions, make meaningful choices, and achieve personal growth. Person-centered therapy respects your autonomy and promotes self-discovery, enabling you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your ability to navigate life's challenges effectively.

Trauma Informed Care

In my therapy practice, I am committed to providing a safe and supportive environment for my clients, and I utilize a trauma-informed care treatment method to ensure their well-being and healing. This approach recognizes the widespread impact of trauma on individuals and emphasizes understanding, compassion, and empowerment in the therapeutic process. By integrating trauma-informed care into my practice, I acknowledge the significance of my clients' past experiences and work collaboratively with them to create a space where they feel heard, respected, and validated.
