I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida and for over 13 years I have had the honor of helping individual and their families navigate through life's challenges. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, & depression. Everyone is unique and one technique or treatment modality will not work for everyone.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will review the intake form together (if completed and turned in before), and based on the client's report and symptoms a diagnosis will be given. Based on the diagnosis we will create therapy goals together which will also include a treatment plan based on the goals and the diagnosis. We will establish a date when the goals will be accomplished. Homework is given to help the client implement strategies offering relief and reducing unwanted issues.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

The most common approaches I use are person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, existential, and solution-focused with a motivational interview technique.
