Hello! I am a psychotherapist licensed in CA and NH. I work to help people alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction and more. I work to help people gain insight in to their lives , determine what they want out of life, and work towards that. I love my work and look forward to getting to know people and be a supportive part of their journey!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I will work to get to know you and we will begin to clarify what your goals are and start to establish a path towards your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work to establish a trusting relationship with clients so they are comfortable exploring their emotional and cognitive landscape. My natural interest and enjoyment of working with people make this process enjoyable for me, and clients tell me they feel a positive connection in our therapy sessions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I am formally trained in Cognitive behavioral therapy and work to help clients utilize interventions from this modality to reduce symptoms and reach their emotional goals. Many of my clients over the years have connected with these methods and end up feeling empowered by CBT skills.

EMDR

I have formal training by the EMDR Institute (founded by Francine Shapiro, the creator of EMDR therapy). EMDR is very effective helping people process traumatic events, and it is not as “talk” extensive, which can create a higher level of comfort for people working move though and past traumatic events.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I am a long time mindfulness practitioner, and use my training and experience in mindfulness to teach clients practical mindfulness skills to achieve the life they want. Many people connect with the practice of mindfulness to increase their presence in the moment, reduce self judgment, and increase feelings of contentment.
