I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Ohio. I received my masters degree from Antioch University. Marietta, Ohio has been my home since 2010. In 2017, I made the decision to pursue a career in counseling to help improve the mental health of youth, adolescents, and adults in my community. I specialize in youth, adolescent, and adult counseling.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will get to know each other, begin to develop our counselor / client relationship, and discuss your goals and treatment plan.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The ability to provide support and compassion that facilitates healing and growth for my clients in an empathetic, non-judgmental, non-biased, respectful, and genuine manner.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages - youth, adolescents, young adults, and adults. Many individuals struggling with mental health challenges want to feel better and just need someone to assist in their journey to find healing and growth.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

The counselor / client relationship is key to therapy success. Counseling should not be a “one size fits all” mentality, empowering the client to help lead the therapeutic process is essential.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

A CBT approach has been very effective with some of my clients. CBT helps clients identify troubling situations that are causing anxiety, depression or other mental health issues; become aware of how their thoughts, feelings, and beliefs are effecting these issues; identify negative and inaccurate thinking; and then reshape their thoughts.
