I am a Licensed mental health counselor in New York, with more than 15 years of experience in psychotherapy in various outpatient clinical settings. I continue to work with clients of various ages with a wide range of concerns. My therapy style is warm and interactive and I meet clients where they are at. I believe in treating everyone with respect sensitivity and compassion. My approach combines cognitive, behavioral, art, humanistic, solution focused and rational-emotive therapy. I will tailor our conversations and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and personal goals. I am aware of how difficult it can be to reach out for help. It takes courage to seek support from others and recognize you don't need to do it alone. I hope to help you on your new journey towards a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take the first steps towards change, I am here to support and empower you at this time.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. I will give time to explore any questions you may have about the process. We may explore your previous experience and fears with therapy, your learning style, and your personal goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with chikdren, families and adults for years, I've developed a strong individualized approach for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that builds your confidence and skills set for improved mental health.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Its helped many clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
