Our work focuses on learning about the cues one learns from the body and increasing the confidence to apply healthy skills to manage the tumults of life's challenges. People leave our sessions feeling more knowledgeable about their experiences and equipped with practical tools to apply right away, based on their individual needs.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first meeting I will be listening to the concerns bringing you here. I can give impressions about the interventions that will support your concerns and will develop an initial working diagnosis to shape our strategies moving forward. This is a fluid and evolving process, during which in our future sessions your input will continue to shape our work together. The first session is also a great opportunity for you to bring up questions and concerns that you may have about our work together or about therapy in general.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The most rewarding part of my work is my capacity to hold space for the darkness, the pain and the murky experiences that often generate shame and other emotional barriers to change. As a provider I am fully aware of the impact of these shadows in our closet and the people I work with report feeling compassion beyond what they had expected; this is the primary mechanism for effective and long lasting change in new and healthy behaviors. It is of high value to me to be able to hear your questions about the "why" we are using interventions, and to offer explanations that you can understand and relate to your specific needs.
