Are you noticing that you are feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, and unmotivated? You may be wanting to change jobs, improve your relationships, or set boundaries because the ones you've got are not working. You may need help processing the mess of the past 2+ years and you don't know how to get started with what next steps to take in healing. If you are feeling stuck, then therapy is a great next step to move forward. Therapy is a chance for you to try something different. Life can be balanced, hopeful, and enjoyable even in the midst of pain. You can have healthy relationships, be assertive and confident, and live according to what is important to you. Individualized therapy can help you work towards that life through clarifying who you are, gaining insight into what is holding you back, and finding a path forward. I am passionate about helping people live fulfilling lives. I might be a good fit for you if you are looking for a compassionate, yet challenging perspective. I have experience working with those who have Eating Disorders, Mood Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders. I am trained in CPT to work with those who have PTSD.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

From our first session, you can expect me to be compassionate and understanding as I learn about you and what has brought you to therapy. I will work with you to discover and address any barriers that may be keeping you from reaching your goals. My style of therapy is warm yet challenging and direct. I value your curiosity, honesty, and willingness to try something new. I enjoy focusing on clarifying your values and strengths by providing an individualized therapy experience for you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest areas of strength are working with Eating Disorders, body image, OCD and trauma. I have been working with Eating Disorders for about 7 years now and have been trained to help people overcome their beliefs about food and their bodies that have been engrained due to diet culture. I am passionate about helping people feel like they are able to manage their behaviors, thoughts and emotions so that they may live according to their values and live a life that they love.
