Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Kentucky. I attended Northern Kentucky University for my degree in Psychology and attended the University of Cincinnati for my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have worked for the last 20 years in the mental health and addictions field. I work specifically with women to address areas and types of anxiety, trauma, depression, and addiction to empower them to make their lives more manageable.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will be gathering puzzle pieces! We will discuss what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing and how your life has been impacted, background information about various areas of your life, as well as identifying some of the goals that you would like to achieve in therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Some of the things that you will encounter with me are encouragement to process how you're feeling and addressing how to take action on the progress you want to achieve. You will experience a non-judgmental, empathy focused, caring therapist who can help you to feel more comfortable with the experience of therapy.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my experience, CBT is very effective and beneficial, particularly in the areas of anxiety and ptsd. I have used it for a multitude of client concerns. I use this treatment method to help with adjusting a combination of stressful thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
