Clients can expect their first therapy session to be a warm and welcoming experience. I will take the time to get to know them and their reasons for seeking therapy. We will discuss goals and expectations for the sessions and provide a safe space for clients to share their thoughts and feelings. Together we will create an individualized treatment plan to focuses on the goals mentioned during this initial session. Clients can look forward to feeling supported and understood as they begin their journey toward healing and personal growth.

I believe my strengths as a licensed clinical therapist for the past 11 years include my ability to build strong rapport with my clients, my deep understanding of various therapeutic techniques, and my commitment to ongoing professional development. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health challenges and empowering them to live their best lives. My experience has allowed me to develop a keen intuition and a compassionate approach that has proven to be effective in supporting my clients through their healing journey. I have found CBT to be an effective and evidence-based approach in treating a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. By using CBT techniques such as cognitive restructuring and behavioral activation, I work with clients to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to their distress. This approach allows clients to develop healthier coping strategies and improve their overall well-being.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based treatment that has been proven effective for individuals struggling with emotional dysregulation and interpersonal difficulties. In my practice, I utilize DBT techniques to help clients develop mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness skills.
