Welcome all, my name is Jennifer. Have you found yourself feeling fatigued, stressed and/or overwhelmed? Are you feeling conflicted and/or confused? Struggling with adapting to a recent change or making some tough but necessary decisions? Do you sometimes feel lost, alone, rejected, betrayed or brokenhearted? Find yourself stuck in the past, trapped in the present or worried about the future? If you answered yes to any of the questions listed above, there is hope. I am excited and professionally equipped to walk alongside you as you begin or continue your healing journey. Asking for and/or accepting help is no easy task. It takes much courage to work through the mental and/or emotional challenges we sometimes face. Through the use of narrative therapy, and cognitive and solution-focused techniques, I work to see my clients experience an improved quality of life, relief of stressors, increased motivation and hope. Grow through what you go through, but you don't have to do it alone. I offer confidential, compassionate, and honest care. Let's work on your mental wellness to get you closer to the freedom you deserve. I offer appointments sooner and other than Fridays. Please email me for further availability.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Through the use of active listening and a nonjudgmental space, you can expect to walk away from our visits feeling validated, heard, empowered and hopeful.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Before using any specific methods, I strongly believe in the tools and use of relationship-building skills where clients can connect with their therapist and feel safe to be vulnerable and transparent. There is power in our pasts, so I often start with the use of narrative therapy to assess for level of insight and self-awareness. Once you can become familiar with where your thoughts and feelings are rooted, you are then able to apply effective methods like cognitive and solution-focused therapy to bring forth the desired changes needed to improve your quality of life.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Some of my biggest strengths are helping clients to feel comfortable and safe with sharing their struggles. I can offer active listening and feedback in a simple yet effective way. I am bilingual and also find this helpful for those who are limited in accessing treatment due to having a language barrier. Lastly, I feel I am culturally competent and value diversity.
