Life presents us all with challenges. Some are easier to navigate than others. When faced with obstacles it is easy to fall into negative thinking patterns, which can lead to feeling stuck and alone. This can contribute to symptoms of anxiety and depression. Together we will look at what may be triggering your current feelings and explore how to become unstuck in order to find connection and meaning in your life. I find immense joy in helping people identify their strengths and explore what may be getting in the way of moving forward. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in CT and NY. I received my Masters Degree in Social Work from New York University and have been working in the field of social work for over 25 years. I have experience working with children, teens, families and adults.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I will be asking questions in order to gain a sense of how i can best help. Once I have a better understanding of what issues are bringing you into therapy, we will work together to identify therapy goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strengths are my ability to create a compassionate therapeutic space where people feel understood and supported without fear of judgement. My hope is that you will come away with a better understanding of yourself and the tools to cope with challenging life situations.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with people who are motivated for change but are feeling stuck in their current situations. My ideal client is introspective and ready to do the work it will take to implement changes.
