I work with young adults and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, body image concerns, perfectionism, identity development, trauma, postpartum depression and anxiety, stress management, relationship problems, attachment difficulties, and childhood abuse.

My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, supportive, and empathic. My objective is to help bring clarity to your goals, learn stress reduction techniques, and help you understand parts of yourself and your life that will ease your suffering. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and will help guide you to increase self-awareness, explore needs, consider alternative perspectives, break counterproductive habits and patterns, and increase personal strengths to have a more meaningful life experience.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I believe that everyone brings their own histories, personalities, and relationships into therapy, which is why I work from various modalities to suit your needs and personality and tailor therapy in an individualized manner. I utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy, strength-based therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused work. I incorporate mindfulness and compassion into my therapeutic approaches throughout our sessions. My goal is to help you gain insight into your strengths and build upon them, while also being a support of the mind-body connection to promote a healthy well-being.

My style is genuine and warm, and I bring empathy, compassion, and understanding in my sessions to build strong therapeutic relationships in an environment where clients can explore themselves internally. I strive to inspire hope and motivation to get clients to a place of acceptance, wholeness, empowerment, and progress towards therapeutic goals to live a more enriched life. It truly takes courage and strength to seek therapy and I appreciate the opportunity to consider me to be a part of this journey with you.
