Hi there, I'm Samantha Living with stress, depression and/or anxiety can be exhausting. Being able to learn different strategies and techniques to manage symptoms can change and improve your life. I am a clinical licensed social worker that specializes in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, life stressors and relationships. One of my approaches to therapy is to help provide support, guidance and useful feedback that can help you effectively address life changes. Life presents us with numerous transitions - illness, health issues, separation, the death of a loved one, alcohol/drug problems and others. Seeking therapy can sometimes feel scary, but you're making the right choice and taking a step closer to a positive change. Together, we can work to find the best coping strategies and techniques to help you through any challenging transition. Let's work together!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first sessions, we start with brief introductions and explore what’s the clients expectations are for therapy. I always give clients the options of setting specific goals and using therapy as a safe space to vent. Sometimes starting therapy can feel scary, however, I always feel it’s priority to make therapy comfortable and relaxing for clients.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

The areas I feel are my biggest strengths include, depression, anxiety, life transitions, family changes, and trauma.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have lots of experience working with different clients in using CBT. It has worked with many clients struggling to make changes and to help them become more aware of their thought processes.

Strength-Based

Strengths based treatment is amazing because it helps clients focus on their strengths as a whole. It helps clients that struggle to seek their strengths and positive traits.
