Hi! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor from Western New York. I have over 13 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked in many environments, which helped me realize my passion. I enjoy working with and supporting women who are faced with the challenge of one of life's never-ending transitions. Have you recently graduated from college and suddenly everything you knew has changed? Or have you started a new job and you're constantly second-guessing yourself? Are you a mom who is trying her best to juggle and manage endless responsibilities? Change can be tough, especially when faced with overwhelming and confusing emotions. I help women learn about themselves, improve their mental health, and gain confidence, as they navigate life's never ending changes.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I know choosing to start therapy can be hard. It is normal to fear being judged and nervous about the process. I provide a highly empathetic, non-judgmental, and safe environment. And I aim to move at a pace comfortable for you. In our first session, we will get to know each other, and discuss challenges you are looking to overcome. We will then create a person-centered plan to address your goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in the field for the past 13 years, I learned to be flexible and open-minded. I am highly empathetic and will ensure you feel supported and heard.

My treatment methods

Eclectic

Therapy isn't one size fits all; therefore, I practice utilizing an eclectic method based on patient needs. I have experience and training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Trauma Therapy ( Progressive Counting and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-based Methods. I am a life-long learner and seek on-going training, to ensure I am utilizing the most effective methods when providing treatment.
