Hi! I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor (LISW-S) based in Ohio. I received my Masters from the University of Connecticut and have been practicing for 30+ years. It is a joy to work with people of different backgrounds and to help them deal with a variety of life experiences such as chronic illness, relationships career stressors, spiritual exploration, resilience and more.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

It is so important that you feel comfortable and safe at our first session. We will start with introductions and then talk about why you are seeking therapy. This will help us put together a custom plan with goals and priorities that we will work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with adults and seniors for several years, I've created a series of strategies to help you discover the root cause of your challenges. Together, we will establish a tailored plan that leads to growth and progress.

My treatment methods

Mind-body approach

Let's work on creating a set of healing techniques that enhance the mind’s interactions with bodily function, induce relaxation and improve overall health and well-being.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Let's focus on learning how to be more aware of thoughts, feelings, emotions, surroundings, and situations, and to reduce automatic responses.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

As a compassionate facilitator, I'm here to listen without judgment and acknowledge your experience without shifting the conversation in another direction. I'm here to encourage and support you without interrupting or interfering with your process of self-discovery, as they uncover what hurts and what is needed to repair it.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Let's take a look at how you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression but can be useful for other mental and physical health problems.
