With 20 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and Colorado, I have dedicated my career to supporting individuals on their journey towards mental and emotional well-being. I have had the privilege of working with a range of clients: WWII Veterans, paralyzed Veterans, caregivers, individuals facing end-of-life challenges, and those navigating the complexities of depression, anxiety, childhood and adult cancers. My therapeutic approach is centered around meeting each client where they are in their unique circumstances and tailoring treatment to their specific needs. I believe in the power of the mind-body connection and the profound impact it can have on our overall well-being. I am a firm believer in the healing powers of meditation, exercise, diet, and sleep. By integrating these practices into therapy, we can work together to help you rise to your highest self. As a secular and liberal therapist, I embrace diversity and respect the individuality of each client. I firmly believe that love is love, and am committed I to providing a supportive environment for clients of all sexual orientations and gender identities. I have studied Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Continuing education is to paramount me, as I strive to provide the highest quality of care to my clients. As a student at Integrated Psychiatry Institute, I am currently expanding my knowledge and skills in the area Psychedelic therapy. - Individual therapy: Guiding clients through their personal challenges and helping them develop coping strategies and skills to navigate life's complexities. If you are seeking a compassionate and experienced therapist who believes in the power of the mind-body connection and holistic healing, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can embark on a journey of healing, growth, and self-discovery, helping you integrate and rise to your highest self.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

We will complete a full assessment in which I will ask questions about your life, history, substance use, mental health, health and current stressors. Then we will discuss your goals for therapy. We will determine if this venture is a good fit for you. Fit is everything and it's important to the therapeutic alliance for us to be aligned. Therapy is the application of new skills between sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength is my ability to be present when clients are facing hardships. Whether that is someone facing end of life, disability, or illness. My work with cancer patients as well as Mom's of children with cancer has been the work I've been the most proud of. Seeing beyond a diagnosis and seeing the person instead is the gift we give each other.
