I am a licensed professional clinical counselor licensed in California with over seven years of experience working as a psychotherapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, personality disorders, and substance use. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. We will discuss expectations from therapy and the different ways therapy can help improve your life!

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize different methodologies based on each clients needs and what they are hoping to get out of therapy. I am trained in EMDR and TRM which help in the reprocessing of traumatic experiences. I also like to work with DBT and CBT as they have been proven to be helpful with individuals diagnosed with depression and anxiety.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have seven years of experience working with individuals who have experienced complex trauma. I have worked with clients who are survivors of Human Trafficking for years and have experience with domestic violence survivors as well. I also have extensive training and experience with working with substance usage disorders and other addictions.
