I have been a counselor for 6 years. I am also a yoga instructor. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management for children, teens, and adults. I like to utilize a creative approach to therapy to help tailor to your needs. I view myself as an eclectic counselor, as I like to pull from various theories to best fit your needs. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, positive psychology, EMDR, and solution-focused therapy.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll complete a clinical assessment, which will involve answering questions to best help me gather enough information to formulate a proper diagnosis. After that, we will explore the barriers you're facing to help me create a treatment plan for us to work through in together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have always had a passion for guiding others, and helping to uncover the answers that are already within. I believe in a holistic approach to a healthier you, because if you do not focus on all of you (mind, body, and spirit) then it will be difficult to find true peace. It would be an honor to be apart of your healing journey and to assist you in creating the harmony that you’ve been searching for.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I've used CBT since I begin counseling in 2018. I've also had training in CBT in 2021.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I completed training in EMDR in February 2024. I just have 3 hours of consultation left to receive my certification. I've utilized EMDR with multiple client this year so far.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I utilize mindfulness a lot as well. It can be very helpful to combat a lot of symptoms related to PTSD, Anxiety, and Depression.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have always been a person centered therapist as I allow the clients autonomy throughout my sessions while providing empathy and support.
