Hi! I'm a Licensed Psychologist based in California. I have received my Bachelors of Science in Cognitive Psychology and Psychology of Social behaviors from the University of California, Irvine. I have obtained my Masters in Clinical Psychology from California State University of Fullerton. I have received my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant University. I have been seeing clients for the pas 13 years in different settings from private practice to community mental health centers and recovery centers.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions to learn more about each other and to see if we are a good fit to embark on our journey of therapy. I will try to gain a better understanding of the reasons that you are seeking therapy so we can create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a clinician, I try to have an open mind and open heart for understanding my clients. I believe therapy is a collaborative work and enjoy helping my clients live life to their fullest potential. I have worked with numerous clients from different cultural backgrounds. I believe my previous training and years of experience have equipped me with the necessary knowledge needed to help address my client's unique mental health needs.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy is one of the most researched and empirically supported treatment modalities that is highly effective in treating various mental health disorders. I have been fully trained on this therapeutic modality and have used it in my work with numerous clients. I utilize CBT to gain a better understanding of client's thoughts patterns affecting their feelings and behaviors. Through utilizing CBT, maladaptive thought patterns can be identified and modified to help the person live a healthier, more enjoyable life.

Humanistic

Humanistic treatment methods are helpful in providing a supportive relationship during therapy and help me gain a better unerstanding of client's problems in a compassionate and caring manner.
