What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
I provide a safe, secure, and relaxed environment while conducting Telehealth. Collaborating with me feels very relaxed and comfortable. Many people have told me that I am easy to talk to and bond with. We will have open communication as we get to know each other. I will answer questions and strive to put you at ease. I will also check to make sure we are on the same page by using a checks and balance approach summarizing what you have shared with me. We will then develop the next steps in the process to help you heal and grow.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
I help patients manage problems with their family and other relationships. As a Marriage and Family therapist I encourage clients to discuss their emotions and experiences and, develop strategies and skills to change behavior and cope with difficult situations. Many therapists apply cognitive behavioral therapy to help patients understand harmful thoughts, feelings, and also teach patients how to replace them with positive, life-enhancing ones.
Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.
I work with all ages and individuals; I also have a strong connection with women experiencing Post -Partum Depression and any women's issues. I always collaborated with clients, always. This is accomplished with open and honest communication. During the assessment, I understand it could be anxiety-provoking, but I tend to make the client feel safe and comfortable
