Hello I am an independently licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience. My Masters is from SUNY and I have practiced in multiple areas including owning a geriatric focused private practice. My most recent clinical work was at the Mayo Clinic. That experience helped further sharpen my clinical skills. When not professionally engaged I love hiking with my pup.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients are invited to share their story while I address any concerns. We will be getting to know one another to begin the work. It is important we have a rapport so that we can best understand how to best communicate through the therapeutic process. I believe that together we will find a way to find what you believe to be your happiness.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I listen. First and foremost, I listen in order to find what you need to overcome your current life struggles.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I enjoy working with individuals who have struggled with grief, anxiety, and self esteem. The strain anxiety can place in multiple areas of your life can be overwhelming. I have assisted many clients regain their footing when emotions have taken over. Let’s begin the first step in finding your best self together.

Grief Therapy

Experienced in grief therapy. Grieving is learning to live with a loss, not let go of it. We will explore your grief journey together in a way that honors the importance of your person.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

As a clinician I can share multiple techniques to address concerns from a mindfulness perspective. As we listen to what your anxiety is trying to tell you we will quiet it’s disruption to your daily life.
