Hi there, I'm Lina. Whether you're dealing with a current crisis, anxiety, depression, situational stress, or grief and loss, we can work together to meet your goals. I believe that everyone deserves a safe space to heal and grow. I have experience working with mood disorders (including anxiety and depression), coexisting medical illness, chronic illness and grief. My approach is person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be used to review what you can expect from future sessions and to gather information about you and your life and how this relationship can benefit you.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked as a hospital social worker, in outpatient mental health services and in inpatient psychiatric settings and I believe this experience has given me the tools to reach a wider population that may be experiencing issues with access to services as well as coping with emotional distress.

I am a certified DBT therapist and utilize tools for emotion regulation, mindfulness and distress tolerance.
