Seeking support is an important step if you're facing the challenges of everyday life. The journey towards therapy may seem overwhelming at first, but it can significantly improve your mental well-being and personal growth. Taking the initiative to find peace and happiness is an accomplishment in itself. Having someone supportive and validating of your experiences is crucial during this vulnerable time. As someone who has worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for over 20 years, I have had the privilege of helping people overcome anxiety, depression, and trauma. My experience stems from working in residential and community mental health organizations. I always keep up with ongoing training and certifications to stay up-to-date with the latest changes and challenges that women and men face today. Together, we can set achievable goals and boundaries while identifying and working through negative thought patterns that may be hindering your progress. It would be an honor to work with you and help you improve your mental health.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

You will be welcomed into a comfortable and non-judgmental space. The first session is about you. I will actively listen to your story, concerns, and goals. We'll talk about your expectations and goals for therapy. You can ask questions about confidentiality, the therapeutic process, and any concerns. I'll provide information about trauma and the therapeutic approach we'll take. This will help you better understand what to expect as we move forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength is my willingness to listen, challenge, and empower you actively. There are times in our lives when we need someone to listen, and there are times when we need direction. The power to decide lies within you, and my role is to guide you towards the path that helps you the most.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional 2 (CCTP-II) and hold a Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT) certification. My work experience spans over two decades, during which I have successfully worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and various other challenging life and relationship circumstances.
