Hello! I am Samantha, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received my master's degree from the University of La Verne in 2016. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults. My passion is helping you navigate through grief and loss, trauma, depression and anxiety. I use an eclectic approach to integrating evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Strengths-Based Therapy. You are the expert of your life and I will be here to walk alongside and support you. Asking for help isn't easy. Thank you for taking the first step!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

After our first session together, you can count on us being a team. I take a very collaborative approach with my clients to work on and identify the current problem areas and correlate them to your treatment goals. My goal is to provide a safe, judgment-free space where I can support you in your growth and healing during our time together.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use an eclectic approach to integrating evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Strengths-Based Therapy. I also approach my clients through a trauma-informed care lens.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have always been told that I am a great listener. During our sessions, you can count on me to truly listen to you and your story. I have been told by numerous clients that I provide a safe space for them to feel comfortable sharing difficult things. I have also been told that I am warm, welcoming and funny! I can't wait to listen to your story!
