I became a therapist as a second career. In my first career, I worked in marketing and analytics. I graduated with a BA in Advertising with a minor in Marketing from Texas Tech University. After working in the advertising, research, and business, I started my counseling career. I graduated with my Masters in Counseling from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. I have experience working with eating disorders in a residential facility and I am working on an eating disorder certification. I was a competitive runner about 10+ years ago which helps me understand athletes. Lastly, I have experience helping teen girls and women work through feelings of anxiety and depression.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, I like to get to know my clients. In order to do the meaningful therapeutic work, clients need to feel safe, secure, and heard.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am empathic, compassionate and have a heart for helping people. I have a good balance of challenging clients and showing grace.
