What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
Before we meet, I will give you a brief set of questions to answer. In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and then dive into the specific challenges you are facing. This will help me understand your needs and goals and help us create a tailored plan to work on during our sessions.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
For over 25 years, I have worked with people whom family or society gave up on. Most had lost hope that their life could be different. Most were survivors of abuse. My favorite thing is highlighting the strengths, inner power, and wisdom within the people I serve. I believe in my clients until they believe. Therapeutic modalities with hope is the most incredible resource. My clients have taught me so much and I am inspired by their success.
Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.
I love working with people seeking recovery from substance abuse. You may be on probation, or substance abuse has led you to lose your freedom or your job, and you may have family members who don't understand you. You desire to have stability in your life and relationships that thrive. My unique blend of experience providing care and non-judgment makes me ideally suited to help. I am best prepared to serve BIPOC women who show up for everyone else except for yourself. You present as a strong woman extending grace for your children, family, and community, but not for yourself. It is time that you take yourself off mute, and seek the support you need. You are worth it, and I am equipped and honored to walk with you toward wholeness and peace.
