Whether you’re looking to improve your emotional wellbeing or find help for specific life challenges, therapy is a great place to start. I have 10 years of direct training and experience working with anxiety and depression as well as stress, self-esteem issues and general self-improvement goals. My approach is compassionate and interactive, tailoring therapy to each individual while providing support and feedback to reach goals. I consider it a privilege to work in this field and to have worked with diverse populations across California, the Hawaiian Islands and most recently, Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. *Please note that as of January 2024 I am only providing individual counseling. Reach out if you'd like a couples counseling referral* Licenses & Credentials: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. Certified Guided Meditation Instructor

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

First sessions can be thought of as a casual conversation and introductions for both of us. We'll talk about your needs and set goals for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Self-improvement, mindset skills and corporate wellness are also areas that I focus on. In 2022, I authored a book titled, "The Essential Family Therapy Workbook", which can be found anywhere books are sold online. I also enjoy contributing to public mental health conversations and have been quoted in TIME Magazine, HuffPost, WebMD, Healthline, Cosmopolitan, VeryWellMind, The Washington Post, Instyle, Newsweek, WomensHealth, and Today.com.

This approach looks at thoughts and feelings that drive behaviors. CBT helps you achieve your goals by challenging your inner narrative.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

This approach helps you understand and regulate intense emotions. DBT is cognitive, but also utilizes mindfulness techniques.
