Welcome. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California. I work with children, teens, adults, couples and families looking for Christ-centered professional therapy. We live in a fallen world where everyone has experienced some kind of suffering. I have gone through difficult seasons in my own life, which has made me able to really offer care and compassion to those going through their own struggles. I have dedicated my career to helping others find hope and healing.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, I will work to make each client feel comfortable and hopeful that things will get better. I have found that many clients don't know where to begin. That's okay. We will work together to clearly define the goal and create manageable steps you can take to make meaningful changes. Along the way, I will regularly ask for feedback to make sure you feel good about the direction we are going. This allows a very customized approach to working with each client.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
By God's grace, I am a patient and skilled listener. Proverbs 20:6 sums up my goal with each client: "The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out." Once we have a good idea of what is going on, I can offer specific strategies and techniques a client can use to make real changes in their life.
