Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensed in the state of Virginia. I received my Master's in 2014. My services include working with individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety and stress management, depression, grief counseling, self esteem and assertiveness training, working with children and adolescents struggling with interpersonal stress and behavioral issues. Additionally I offer services for Sex Offender Treatment and Evaluation.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will begin with a brief introduction followed up by a conversation regarding what brings the client to counseling. From there we will go into further detail about the client's current situation and symptoms and how those symptoms have caused distress. We will then, together, formulate a plan moving forward that the client is most comfortable wit to address these symptoms.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with clients spanning over a decade, I have found that my ability to empathize as well as take a structured approached has been the most beneficial to clients. Additionally I work with the client regarding their goals and comfortability level creating a safe and therapeutic atmosphere.
