My experience incudes working with children, families, and adults as a therapist and in the psychiatric emergency department. I currently only offer telehealth.

I use the first session to get to know you and will ask a number of questions so I have a better picture of you and your life. I will then find out what you are looking to accomplish and establish our ongoing sessions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to focus on several elements such as psychoeducation, skills training, and behavioral strategies to avoid tiggers.

Compassion Focused

I use compassion focused therapy to alleviate the suffering caused by excessive self-criticism and internalized shame, which are often at the heat of various mental health disorders. I cultivate a compassionate mindset, which fosters emotional healing and psychological well-being.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

I use different methods to help you process emotions and improve your relationship bonds. This includes using empathy and repetition to encourage you to reflect on your beliefs and validating your emotional experience.

Grief Therapy

I help you to process and cope with a loss whether the loss is a friend family member, pet or other life circumstance. Grief affects everyone differently and therefore treatment is based on how the grief is affecting you.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

My approach is to emphasizes you strengths and resources to create positive change, focusing on present and future goals rather than past problems. It is brief, goal-oriented, and emphasizes solutions rather than delving into underlying issues.
