Are you having feelings of loneliness, depression, anxiety, you can't seem to get your life back on track or feel stuck and old ways are not helping? I empower people with the confidence they need to make the changes necessary to grow and feel better about themselves and their lives. Together we work on what fits best with your comfortability and at your pace. Making changes and the therapy setting can sometimes be overwhelming, but deciding to take that first step towards change shows initiative and determination to do so. You deserve to feel safe and comfortable with a therapist, my goal is to gain your trust, and build rapport, as well as compassion and empathy, to help you navigate the changes you are looking to make. I integrate different evidence-based practices that would fit your needs. I love doing art therapy, integrating fun ways to relax to help get to the root of the problem. I then integrate different ways to help change mindsets and how negative mindsets keep you from making changes and keep you stuck, I like to have you think, look at the big picture of the issue at hand and reassess throughout therapy to make sure you are reaching your goals and full potential.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session will be building rapport, knowing likes, dislikes. Client will share expectation of what they want from treatment, as well as where they would like to start. Therapist will get to know the client by way of showing empathy and understanding of needs. I am easy going, a good listening and open minded.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am experienced in emotional dysregulation and how these dysregulated emotions affect you. I work with clients experiencing grief and loss, helping them navigate through the emotional effects and changes they are experiencing. I work with adults and children who have experienced trauma, helping with understanding how trauma affects all parts of their lives, as well as learning different skills to change and heal. I am experienced with addiction, teaching clients better-coping skills and acceptance. I use a multitude of evidence-based practices that are best for the client.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

This method is used throughout all forms of changing. I use CBT to help change thoughts, reactions, and emotions by way of recognizing how the continuous cycle of how thoughts keep us stuck.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

Using CPT, is close to CBT, but works specifically on the thought process, this is usually used with thoughts developed through a traumatic experience

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT will be used to help lower the racing mind and better coping skills to work through with mindfulness and meditation

Motivational Interviewing

Using MI, I will be guided by your goals and the strengths that are identified to reach these goals, this treatment method is based off of clients desire to change

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use TFCBT mainly with children, but can also be adjusted for adults. it is a set treatment plan that helps children work through their trauma and learn how their reactions are affecting them, learn better coping skills when they become reactive and the use of narrative therapy to be able to exhibit skills learned
