Hello! My name is Sasha Rich and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida and the founder of Enriched Counseling Associates in the Jacksonville area. I work with children, adolescents, individuals, and families to help empower and motivate change. I have 15 years of clinical experience and a total of 20 years serving in public and private agencies as a therapist, school counselor, and social worker. Together we can improve your life or your child's life with school issues, grief, self-esteem issues, peer conflicts, family adjustments, and trauma. In my practice, you will be treated with compassion, kindness and empathy throughout our time together. During your intake assessment, we can determine if using our natural environment or pet-assisted therapy would be helpful for you. I am the handler for Hazel, a therapy dog in training. She Is available to assist with face-to-face sessions to provide comfort and control of anxiety, emotional regulation, and mood stabilization. I would be honored to speak with you to see how I can help with any challenges you are facing!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we will start with brief introductions. Then we will dive right in to the reason you would like to speak with me. We will create a tailored plan that identifies your goals and utilized the right therapy approach for you or your child.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I offer individual and family sessions in person or virtually. My primary therapeutic approaches are Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Walk and Talk Therapy using nature as a tool, and Animal Assisted Therapy. I also implement Play Therapy techniques for young children. My approach is tailored to your needs. My specialties include working with school-aged children and adolescents to help with mental health issues, trauma, family issues, anxiety, and school difficulties. I am also skilled at working with teen mothers, mothers of young children, foster/adoptive families, and persons with Christian/Catholic issues.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My whole purpose in working with you is to help support you in managing life's challenges and reaching optimal wellness. By listening to you and honoring your desires and needs, I will help you reach your goals.
