Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) located in Pennsylvania. I obtained my Master's degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, and have been practicing for eight years. My areas of expertise include treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. I am enthusiastic about helping my clients feel at ease, grounded, and empowered to navigate life's challenges and create the life they desire.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, I'll briefly introduce myself so that you can feel comfortable talking with me. I will also ask you many questions to get to know you as a whole person and to learn about your concerns. Together, we will build a positive therapeutic rapport by tuning into each other. My foremost goal is to help you feel heard, validated, and emotionally regulated throughout your unique healing process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I bring a high level of sensitivity, intuition, and a deep sense of compassion to co-create a safe space for you to navigate your healing. Through my foundation of unconditional positive regard, I offer understanding and non-judgment so you can release any sense of shame and guilt, which are common root causes of psychosomatic symptoms.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

Attachment-based therapy aims to help those struggling with mental health issues and relationship problems. By addressing childhood attachment experiences, we can work together to heal emotional wounds and establish healthy relationships. In a safe and supportive space, we can build a therapeutic relationship to help you feel seen, heard, and understood.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

I am committed to gaining a deep understanding of your cultural heritage and experiences by asking you questions about your beliefs, values, and customs. I appreciate and embrace individual uniqueness and differences, and tailor my therapeutic approach accordingly. Together, we'll develop personalized strategies and coping skills that meet your specific needs.

EMDR

EMDR therapy is a powerful tool for healing from trauma. With my guidance, we'll work through the eight phases of the therapy, processing your memories and desensitizing them. You'll engage in bilateral stimulation, following my finger movements or listening to tapping sounds, activating your brain's natural processing system. As you share your thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations, you'll gain valuable insights and integrate them into your healing journey. My role is to help you feel empowered and inspired as you move forward, leaving behind the pain and distress of your past experiences.

Gestalt

How often do you find yourself analyzing or dwelling on the past or worrying about the future? I'll use Gestalt therapy to bring your awareness to the present moment. You'll be encouraged to acknowledge your feelings, thoughts, bodily sensations, and needs. I'll guide you through different exercises designed to help you explore your patterns, express blocked emotions, and gain new perspectives.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Are you experiencing a wide range of challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, relationship issues, and addiction? Together, we'll practice various mindfulness exercises to cultivate non-judgmental awareness, leading to improved emotional regulation, reduced stress, and a greater sense of inner peace.
