As a seasoned therapist with diverse experience across community mental health, intensive treatments, corrections, and outpatient therapy settings, I bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to my practice. My journey has been shaped by working with clients navigating complex life transitions and those who may feel 'lost' in their journey. With a client-centered approach, I am dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their challenges, discover their strengths, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and growth. Together, we will work collaboratively to navigate the uncertainties of life and create a path towards healing and fulfillment.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, I will allow you to paint me the picture of who you are and why you are here today. I strive to create an open, comfortable and relaxed space for you to feel supported and heard.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Throughout my career I have worked with a variety of individuals and diagnosis. I have extensive training and certifications in trauma work and DBT.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize CBT to focus on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By identifying and challenging negative thought patterns, CBT aims to promote positive changes in behavior and emotional well-being.

Couples Counseling

Therapist works with the couple to provide therapy aimed at improving communication and resolving conflicts within romantic relationships. Through guided sessions, couples work collaboratively with me to strengthen their connection, address challenges, and build healthier dynamics.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

This goal-oriented approach allows the therapist to work with the client to emphasize clients' strengths and resources to achieve rapid, sustainable change. By focusing on solutions rather than problems, SFBT aims to empower clients to identify and implement practical solutions to their challenges in a relatively short period of time.

Reality Therapy

I utilize Reality Therapy to focus on the present and encourage clients to take responsibility for their choices and actions. By emphasizing personal accountability and creating realistic plans for change, Reality Therapy aims to help clients achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Existential

This approach focuses on exploring the individual's search for meaning and purpose in life. By examining existential concerns such as freedom, responsibility, and mortality, this therapy aims to help clients gain insight into their existence and navigate existential dilemmas with greater clarity and authenticity.
