I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in California with services provided statewide via telehealth. I received my Masters degree from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and have been practicing for over 5 years. My passion and experience have been in the areas of anxiety, trauma, depression, and ADHD. I use a collaborative and integrative approach since I believe that my clients are the experts in their own lives.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session together, you can expect to spend the majority of our time talking about how you have been recently feeling as I ask questions to better understand why you may be feeling that way. The first session is about us building an initial connection and helping me get a sense of where we should go from there. Each individual is different, and I like to listen first before assuming I know what will work best for my clients moving forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have always been passionate about helping others, which led to my decision to become a therapist. Throughout my experience and training as a therapist, I have personally applied the skills and tools learned and have gained personal and professional growth and insight and the opportunity to heal. I greatly value the tools I teach, and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to assist others with improving their overall quality of life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been practicing the CBT model for over 6 years and I use it daily in my personal life. Through the use of this treatment model, I will assist you in identifying the correlation between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors or reactions, while helping you develop an understanding on how they each influence one another. We'll then work on changing the unhelpful and negative thinking patterns leading to depression and other mental health-related issues.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I have been practicing Mindfulness-Based therapy for over 6 years. I assist my clients with increasing their awareness of the present moment, while decreasing the time spent living in the past and/or future. Through use of mindfulness and grounding exercises. These techniques help us be present in our physical body and environment.
