I have been providing counseling services in both private practice and community-based mental health since 2012. I do this from an empowerment based perspective. I also do this from a strength-based perspective. A counseling relationship with me will always be nonjudgmental. I provide support as you try to accomplish your goals as well as challenge. It is important for me to have a solid therapeutic relationship.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I am a therapist that utilizes a eclectic approach to therapy. the foundation of my therapeutic philosophy rooted in person centered therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. When I work with couples, I utilize family systems therapy. When I provided therapy to persons that struggling with addiction issues, I utilize motivational interviewing and solution focused therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am comfortable with working with a variety of conditions. I specialize in issues related to PTSD and complex PTSD. I also provide counseling to persons with disabilities and their families. I also enjoy working with people struggling with addiction issues especially process addictions such as food, sex, and gambling. I'm also comfortable working with general mental health conditions such as depression and its anxiety.
