Hi there! I can say from my own experiences that life isn’t always easy, fun or fair. In fact, as the years go by we are often faced with more difficult challenges. Factor in general adulting and whew! Sometimes, even the strongest amongst us needs a little bit of support working through life’s more challenging obstacles. I started Epiphany Counseling so that I might engage and empower others by meeting them where they are in life. For the past 12 years, I have had the opportunity to help individuals work through and overcome challenges with: anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, career burnout, stress management, and relationship issues. I have been blessed to be apart of several different fields but found the most fulfillment in private practice. Helping others is my passion and purpose. I could not be more thankful to do this work.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges you’re facing. This will help me to create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow up sessions.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I like to customize each session to the client’s mood, needs and treatment plan. I believe in a solution focused session and while venting may be necessary that day, I will always move us forward. To do that, I subscribe to several different methods and techniques, including: mindfulness techniques, CBT strategies, gratefulness training, stress reduction techniques, motivational interviewing, challenging, goal setting, assertiveness skills and more.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

By far, my biggest strength is in creating a safe and empathetic space for my clients to be themselves, however that looks that day. No judgement. No censure. I am here to cultivate rapport and earn trust so that our therapeutic relationship can be effective.
