Do you often feel anxious and worried? Or maybe you experience restlessness, and have a hard time settling down? Perhaps you find that your anxiety causes you to struggle with setting boundaries or forming meaningful connections with others? I feel you. I really, really do. That’s why I’m here to help. Therapy with me is more than just ‘therapy’ – it’s a lighthearted but intelligent way to transform those feelings of uncertainty, restlessness, and worry into something meaningful. Together, we’ll blend intelligent and deep conversation with guided, deepening meditations, and intuitive body-mind connection exercises. I’ll encourage you to bring your most authentic self into the room (and while we’re at it, I’ll bring my own self too!), so that you consistently walk away from our sessions experiencing those ‘aha’ moments that we are all looking for in therapy. Through experiential exercises and discussions, humor, and deep dialogue, you’ll gain new tools and techniques that will work for you long after therapy ends. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first few sessions together, we'll spend some time laying down the framework and getting to know each other. As we move deeper, I'll guide you through visualizations, somatic exercises, impromptu mind-body techniques, and intelligent conversations to help you gain the insights and wisdom to enable you to move forward.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I view all of my clients within the lens of their spiritual, psychological, and life path -- in order to merge those worlds, I'll incorporate somatic exercises, guided visualizations, grounding exercises, and stress-reduction tools in combination with conversations aimed at empowering clients to better understand themselves.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work best with adults struggling with forms of anxiety and stress, including generalized anxiety, panic, social anxiety/social difficulties, and other life/transitional life stressors. Clients who work with me will find that I am humorous, authentic, and don't hide behind the therapist 'facade' -- I bring the real me to our sessions (and sometimes my cats) in order to help clients feel more comfortable, and that starts from the first time we meet.
