Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California with four years of experience. I received my Masters from Simmons College in Boston. I am here to help you work through your current life challenges with the goal of helping you to be the version of yourself that you can have peace of mind with. I have experience with a variety of populations, backgrounds and needs. I do not believe that people are cookie cutter, instead I feel that I must tailor my therapeutic approach to best suit each client. I am also a great match for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community as I am a CODA who is fluent in ASL as a second language.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with getting to know one another, beginning to build a strong foundation for the work that we plan to do. We will then dive into the specific challenges you're facing and the ideal outcome you are seeking. This will help us create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in a healthcare setting for over ten years and the last four as a clinician, I have developed the ability to be adaptable. I have the ability assist clients of all backgrounds and walks of life. I have extensive experience assisting people in addressing the major challenges that life can bring.

My treatment methods

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

We will work together to address your immediate cognitive/behavioral responses with mindfulness skills and techniques.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We will work together through processing and addressing the beliefs, thoughts, and feelings that have led to the outward behavioral responses that you would like to address.

Compassion Focused

With compassion focused therapy we can address those negative self-thoughts by teaching self-compassion.

Grief Therapy

Together we can help you process and cope with the loss of a loved one. When we lose someone important to us, we can find ourselves feeling like we lost a portion of our identity. With this approach we can also focus on accepting this change and how we can formulate a new identity.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

We will work together for a shorter amount of time focusing only on what you feel you would like to address. Together we can find the best solution.
