I’m a licensed clinical social worker that has been working in the mental health/behavioral health field for 13+ years. I enjoy working with teens, adults, and families in a wide range of ages. I hope to help you find the skills and tools to manage your current stressors or concerns both in session and in your day to day life. I like to use humor and be authentic and genuine in the therapy process, which clients have said they appreciate and allows them to feel comfortable. I hope to work with you to take back control of your mental health and be the best version of you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I hope to learn more about you and specifically the "struggles" that you hope to work on by coming to therapy. I'll make sure you realize your not alone and that I will be your biggest cheerleader through this process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I work with a wide variety of clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-harm/suicidal ideation, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and more. I also work with family conflict to help both the client and the family unit. I have experience in group work, inpatient hospitalization, residential settings, and school settings. Most of my experience has been working with clients in outpatient settings and providing crisis intervention.

My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

I believe in encouraging clients to find strength within them and identify positive traits. Feeling confident and having some control in our lives helps us to move forward in a positive way and increase motivation/hope.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Helped clients learn different skills to best understand and control their thoughts, emotions and behaviors; as well as how to manage them so they do not negatively impact our day to day lives.

Family Therapy

Working with children and adolescent even though the child/adolescent may be the primary client working with their support system which is usually their family is a significant part of treatment.
