Hi. My name is Lacey. Are you feeling stuck, like you've lost your way and aren't sure how to get back on track? Do you feel apart from your true and authentic self? Or perhaps, you are overwhelmed with managing your health concerns? I take a compassionate and evidence-based approach to helping individuals develop strategies to cope with their mental health challenges and improve their overall wellbeing. Throughout my 13 year career, I have developed a deep understanding of the complex interplay between mental health and physical health. I use a holistic approach to help people address the emotional, psychological, and social aspects of their health conditions, in order to empower clients to better manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life. Whether you are dealing with depression, anxiety, or chronic illness, I am here to help you achieve your goals and put the joy back into your life. I look forward to working with you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My style of therapy is, first and foremost, person centered, meaning you are the expert of your own life. Together, we will clarify what is and isn't working in your life and what changes can help you fulfill your goals. You will find that I provide a safe and accepting environment, in which you will feel validated and empowered to reach your fullest potential.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

Individual therapy utilizing: - Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) - Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) - Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) - Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT)

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My biggest strength, both personally and as a therapist, is my ability to empathize. It's difficult to heal when you feel as though no one understands what you are going through. The gift of empathy allows me to be attuned to the needs of the clients I work with and respond in a way that is both compassionate and understanding. This leads to greater insight, healing, and personal growth. And that is a beautiful thing.
