Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor for the state of Georgia. I have been professionally practicing counseling for seven years and I have been in the helping field for 15 years. I am an inclusive therapist. I incorporate faith based counseling in practice upon request. I have a broad range of skills and specialties. I primarily work with adults ages 19-40 years old.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we will have a brief overview of the therapeutic process. Afterwards, I will empathically listen to as current challenges are expressed. Furthermore, we will collaborate on setting specific goals for follow up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with adults from vast backgrounds for the past 7 years, I've developed an eclectic approach to assist with raising awareness, building insight and ultimately creating change.

I primarily work with client adjusting to a life transition which may increase depressive and anxiety symptoms. I also serve clients that have concerns surrounding substance use disorder, disordered eating and relationship difficulties.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have had the honor of journeying with people during emotionally challenging times in their lives. My integrative approach is both compassionate and directive; it is also creative and based in current therapeutic and empirical research.

Eclectic

I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual. Therefore, I strongly believe that the most progress comes from a good client-therapist relationship, so my style is non-judgmental and collaborative, meeting clients where they are and working with them to access their unique strengths and empower them to reach their goals.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have utilized CBT in therapy for a number of years. CBT is an evidence bass approach in which a connect how thought processes affects emotions and behaviors.
