I am a licensed clinical professional counselor providing therapy to address a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD as well as difficulties with communication and navigating conflict in relationships. Often individuals seek therapy after what they have tried on their own is not providing the change they are seeking. I provide a supportive and partnership approach to therapy incorporating tools to meet client goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Taking the first step to seek counseling is not always an easy one. Understanding this, my approach is one of empathy, compassion, respect and collaboration. I provide a non biased, non judgmental space. The first session will be used to get to know the client, explore any any hx of therapy/treatment and identifying any goals that they client might have for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I well versed and lean heavily on evidenced based tools such as CBT for individuals as well as Gottman Method for couples. I take a partnership approach to incorporate tools and techniques to work towards goals the client would like to achieve. Sessions are kept conversational while also be directive. Humor is infused where appropriate and I am consistent with meeting the client where they are.
