Feeling depressed, anxious, hopeless? You're at the point that you've tried everything you can think of and nothing has worked? Are you feeling more and more stressed? Whether a long-standing mental health problem or something that has just cropped up, interfering with your important relationships and daily activities, I can help by introducing solutions and supporting you as you work your way to the life you want. A lot of times, simple changes in the way you communicate with your significant others can improve bad relationships quickly, improve your self-esteem, and get you back on the path of accomplishing your life goals. My name is Dr. James Benedick and I have been helping people identify and achieve their life goals for the past 46 years. In the process, my clients have learned to control their thinking, reduce unnecessary stress in their lives, build the satisfying relationships that they are searching for, and learn how to act on real threats and control irrational fears and anxieties. I am a licensed clinical social worker with degrees in Social Work and Counseling Psychology and a proven track record.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My clients have learned to control their thinking, reduce unnecessary stress in their lives, build the satisfying relationships that they are searching for, and learn how to act on real threats and control irrational fears and anxieties.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

BMT (Boundary Management Therapy) is a therapy process that has evolved out of my 46 years’ experience as a psychotherapist, helping people find life satisfaction by improving their relationships with themselves and others. It is a method of interacting with ourselves and others, using the tools we already have; our feelings and thought processes to determine the right course for each of us, as individuals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I also teach people about Rational Thinking and Neurotic Thinking and how to maintain the Rational Thinking mode, along with Boundary Management Principles. My primary strength is my interest in what makes us the way we are and who we are. A co-primary strength is that I practice what I teach; the principles of effective Boundary Management and Rational Thinking.
