Hi! I am a licensed certified social worker, and I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a master's in social work with a specialization in clinical practice. I have been a therapist since 2019 and I have been practicing in the field of social work since 2017. I help women who want to live Christ-centered lives but struggle to find balance and understand their purposes. I believe that now is the time for all of us to step out on faith and experience the freedom that comes with being women of God. I’d be honored to join you alongside of your journey! I'm here to help you grown and learn ways to live in freedom and abundance just like God called you to. Please don't hesitate to email me or give me a phone call. It's time to start investing in you!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session, we will introduce ourselves and identify specific challenges. Then we will create short term and long-term goals together that will attempt to resolve each challenge during our time together. In each session, you are expected to be your authentic self! You can share as little or as much as you are comfortable with. In all our sessions you will get empathy, support, encouragement, and accountability.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with women in the last seven years, I have been able to identify their needs and learn ways to help women to cope with their struggles. I have been able to help women to prioritize their individual needs in addition to maintaining their responsibilities. I have helped women create clearer boundaries with themselves and others. I have also helped women to prioritize self-care.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I have been using Christian Counseling in my practice for the last two years. This form of counseling allows for people to align their goals with God's and to cope with life's struggles by using Christian principles. This form of counseling also helps people to form an intimate relationship with Christ.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past four years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Psychoeducation

I have successfully used this form of therapy since I have been practicing. This form of therapy teaches people about their mental health diagnoses and symptoms. This form of therapy also helps people to understand their emotions and helps people to recognize their behavioral patterns. This form of therapy helps people to set healthy expectations and boundaries.

Strength-Based

This form of therapy has been one of the most challenging and fulfilling methods that I have used in my practice. This form of therapy helps people to identify their strengths and teaches them how to use them. This form of therapy has been proven to help increase positive self-esteem and positive mood.
